Onkyo HDMI 1.4 2010 A/V Receivers

Σκέφτομαι κι εγώ για κάποιον onkyo για το νέο μου homecinema.

To θέμα είναι ότι η teufel έχει στο site της μια λίστα με προτεινόμενους ενισχυτές για τα διάφορα ηχεία της και για τα System 5 THX Select 2
προτείνει από 707 και πάνω. http://www.teufelaudio.com/av-receiver.html

Με το σκεπτικό ότι θα πάω στη νέα φουρνιά (άρα 708) σκεφτόμουν αν με καλύπτει και ο μικρότερος 608 γιατι η τιμή του είναι πραγματικά η μισή απ' τον 708... (450 έναντι 900euro)

Σε τί δε μπορεί να σηκώσει δηλαδή ο 608?

Δεν υποτίθεται ότι το hdmi 1.4 θα είχε άλλα βύσματα (κάτι περίεργα μικρά) ;

Εγώ γιατί βλέπω ότι είναι τα ίδια; Οχι ότι μας πειράζει, αλλά λέμε τώρα.

Στην αρχή αυτό είχε ακουστεί.

Προφανώς τα βύσματα είναι ίδια για να υπάρχει συμβατότητα προς τα πίσω με τις υπόλοιπες συσκευές HDMI 1.3.

τελικά παρήγγειλα τον 608 απο Γερμανία.
Εδώ στην Ελλάδα ούτε καν έχουν πάρει χαμπάρι γι' αυτόν.

New Onkyo Receivers Come with HDMI 1.4 and Buyer's Remorse
The problem with 3DTV - aside from the glasses and the nausea and the total lack of content - is that you need to buy an entirely new equipment chain. It is not enough to replace your TV with a 3D capable set, you will also need a 3D-capable Blu-ray player, and - much to the delight of Monster Cable - you may actually need to upgrade your HDMI cables to handle the increased signal bandwidth. The typical HDMI connection in most devices today is 1.3b, but you'll need to upgrade to HDMI 1.4a for 3D.

This has implications for audio as well. If you want to get the best audio out of your 3D content, you'll need an A/V receiver (or processor and separate amplifier) to process the compressed digital signal, amplify it, and pass it along to your speakers. If your receiver - like nearly all on the market today - does not have HDMI 1.4a inputs, you will need to run a second digital audio cable from your Blu-ray player to the receiver - assuming that your Blu-ray player can simultaneously output video over HDMI and audio over coaxial or Toslink outputs. It probably can. Probably.

There are also an increasing number of 2D devices that connect to your television via HDMI, and most TVs and receivers have a paucity of HDMI inputs of any kind. I have 15 devices with HDMI outputs, including game consoles, digital set top boxes, digital camcorders and several smartphones.

With that background it is entirely unsurprising that electronics manufacturers are rushing to update their lines with new A/V receivers that have multiple HDMI 1.4a inputs. For example, Onkyo just announced three new receivers with 7 HDMI 1.4a inputs a piece, including the 9.2 channel TX-NR1008. Of course, this comes literally three days after I bought Onkyo's current generation receiver with 7 HDMI 1.3 inputs, the TX-NR3007 (pictured). Now, I knew that updated versions were bound to be introduced shortly, and, having sent back all my review units, I needed a new receiver now, not in June ...but I still feel a twinge of regret.

Note: the TX-NR1008 is technically a replacement for the TX-NR1007, not the NR3007 which I purchased. I'm sure the TX-NR3008 will be along shortly, along with a new TX-NR5008 flagship, which is bound to have 8 HDMI 1.4a inputs.

πόσο περιθώριο ύψους πρέπει να υπάρχει πάνω απ' τον ενισχυτή για να αερίζεται καλά?
Το δικό μου έπιπλο χωράει τον 608 τόσο οριακά που ουσιαστικά το πάνω μέρος του εφάπτεται στο πάνω ράφι του επίπλου.

Φοβάμαι ότι μόλις του συνδέσω ηχεία θα υπερθεμανθεί σε αυτή τη θέση...

Το δικό μου έπιπλο χωράει τον 608 τόσο οριακά που ουσιαστικά το πάνω μέρος του εφάπτεται στο πάνω ράφι του επίπλου...

Ξέχασέ το.... Θα πρέπει να υπάρχει οπωσδήποτε ικανοποιητικό κενό πάνω και πίσω απ' τον ενισχυτή. Θα έλεγα τουλάχιστον 20 cm περιθώριο πάνω, και το έπιπλο να είναι ανοικτό πίσω. Και ειδικά για ΟΝΚΥΟ που ως γνωστόν ανεβάζουν υψηλές θερμοκρασίες. Οι κατασκευαστές ενισχυτών στα manual λένε για 40-50cm υπερκείμενο ελεύθερο χώρο.

Onkyo TX-SR608 AV Receiver Review

Pros

* Good up-to-date feature set
* 3D video compatible
* Enjoyable movie performance
* Quite powerful for the money
* Easy to set-up
* Cool and quiet-running
* Good value for money

Cons

* Doesn’t quite meet all expectations
* Less assured with music playback
* Doesn’t suffer poor sources
* Works best with easy to drive speakers
* Video processing adds little value


Conclusion

I came away with the impression that Onkyo had a big tool-box to draw on when developing AV receivers. They decide what the want for each point in the market, then work within a budget to get the best mix of performance and functionality. With too many features to even list in a review, this must be a difficult juggling act. Receivers are the ultimate jack-of-all-trades these days, but it seems the SR608 isn’t actually trying to be all things to all men. It focuses on being an HD AV receiver, rather than being a stereo amp or a media player or video processor or whatever. It doesn’t try to be good at everything, but gets its act together with what it needs to do – playing movie soundtracks well. It’s also relatively easy to set-up and convenient to use day to day. If you have £450 to spend on a movie-centric AVR that won’t become obsolete in a year’s time, you’re unlikely to regret spending it on the TX-SR608

Γεια σας παιδια. Ειδα των SR608 στα 429 + 35ευρο μεταφορικα και θα ηθελα να μαθω κατ'αρχας αν ειναι καλος και αν αξιζει τα λεφτα η αν υπαρχει κατι καλυτερο σε αυτο το budget. Ευχαριστω

προχωρα,σε αυτα τα λεφτα Ελλαδα δεν θα βρεις κατι αναλογα καλο
ο onkyo ειναι πολυ καλο μηχανακι...
