Πολύ καλύτερος από τον Βασίλη σου έφερνε σε κάτι πιο βατό σε απλό άνθρωπο σε σχέση με τον άλλο που ήταν απλός ένας μεγαλέμπορας..

Μιλάμε για έναν άνθρωπο, που αφενός ήταν ο οραματιστής του να έχουμε όλοι υπολογιστή στο σπίτι μας, αφετέρου ήταν νομίζω (δικαιωματικά) ο μεγαλύτερος manager στην Ιστορία, και όχι μόνο της Πληροφορικής, αφού κατάφερε μια εταιρεία που είχε φτάσει στα επίπεδα της.... Ελλάδας σήμερα, να την κάνει πρώτη παγκόσμια υπερδύναμη.
Πολλά απ'τα προϊόντα του ήταν επαναστατικά, άλλα τα θεωρούσα (προσωπικά) αποτυχίες. Αυτό όμως δεν έχει καμία σημασία.
Όπως άκουγα προχτές στο ραδιόφωνο, η Apple είναι η μοναδική εταιρία σήμερα που μπορεί να διαφημίζεται τσάμπα, αφού πχ το iPhone event μονοπώλησε άπειρες ώρες τηλεοπτικού και ραδιοφωνικού χρόνου σε όλα τα κανάλια της Γης, χωρίς η Apple να έχει επιδιώξει κάτι τέτοιο.
Ως άνθρωπος, απ'τα λίγα που θα μπορούσε κάποιος άσχετος να τον ξέρει, μέσα δηλαδή από τις ομιλίες και τα αποφθέγματά του, ήταν επίσης μεγάλος. Και η περίφημη ομιλία του στο Stanford θα πρέπει πραγματικά να διδάσκεται σε όλους.
Κρίμα, κυρίως για τον άνθρωπο, την νεότατη ηλικία του...
...και το βασικότερο... υπομονή σε όσους καθημερινά, παντού στον κόσμο αντιμετωπίζουν ανάλογες δύσκολες καταστάσεις, και με δυσανάλογα μικρούς πόρουυς για να ανταπεξέλθουν. Και ό,τι καλύτερο για τον συμφορουμίτη μας παραπάνω.

I’m truly saddened to learn of Steve Jobs’ death. Melinda and I extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends, and to everyone Steve has touched through his work.
Steve and I first met nearly 30 years ago, and have been colleagues, competitors and friends over the course of more than half our lives.
The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come.
For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it’s been an insanely great honor. I will miss Steve immensely.

Τεραστια απωλεια οχι μονο για την apple αλλα για ολο το κοσμο!! μυαλα να του Στηβη δε συναντας καθε μερα!! μεγαλο το κενο του καλα κουραγια στους συνεχιστες του θα το χρειαστουν.....
Λογικό να θυμόμαστε μόνο τις επιτυχίες κάποιου που μόλις απεβίωσε, αλλά ας μη γινόμαστε υπερβολικοί...

Τον Τζομπς τον ακολουθούσα απο την εποχή της LISA. Τότε που η Microsoft λάνσαρε τo νέο DOS , τα παράθυρα ήταν ήδη γεγονός για την Apple. Θυμώσαμε όλοι όταν έφυγε και έφτιαξε την NEXT, η Apple έφτασε να παραχωρεί τις πατέντες της για να επιβιώσει. Η επιστροφή του συνοδεύτηκε από θαύματα που σήμερα απολαμβάνουμε όλοι.
