Given a side-by-side demo of Sony A95K (3° lean-back) vs A90J in their most accurate [Custom] picture modes, with BVM-X300 as reference.
Not allowed to take photos & videos of said demo, but I'm very impressed.
QD-OLED seems to have solved two of my biggest gripes with WRGB OLED.

Then we were able to see a comparative demonstration in a room without lighting between the Sony OLED A90J TV (WBE "EVO" panel+heatsink WRGB OLED panel) and the new Sony QD-OLED RGB A95K.
Both TVs were stuck on the Vivid or Intense image mode, the brighter, but also the most flattering to show the differences in brightness between the two panels.

Sony's A95K is the first TV to be released using the Quantum Dot OLED display from Samsung Display.
Our first up-close look at the TV reveals a return to the Monolith design, an updated Audio Surface Pro and definite image differences when compared directly with last year's A90J OLED.
Our recent visit to Sony UK also gave us the opportunity to see the company's new A90K OLED range which features 42- and 48-inch models, the A80K in 55-,65- and 77-inch, plus there's the promise of the new X95K mini LED TV.

The launch prices of the Sony A95K series of QD-OLED TVs have been leaked through Google.
The 55-inch Sony XR55A95K will launch at £2700, whereas the larger 65-inch XR65A95K will be £3000, which match up with the previously leaked USA prices on Sony's own website.
The USA pricing of the Sony A95K means that it will be more expensive than the Samsung S95B QD-OLED TV which has to be priced lower than the South Korean brand's flagship QN95B Neo QLED Mini LED TV.

Based on a dark-room demo of the Sony A95K QD-OLED vs last year's A90J OLED TV, it seems QD-OLED may have solved a longstanding problem of conventional OLED TV.
