Samsung R86/87/88 Owners Thread/Optimal Settings
Here is a collection for the best settings for the R8 range.
Updated Settings: Saturday 19th May 2007
Service Menu Options:
The first stop is the Service menu. Now alot of people will tell you not to enter this menu as it will void your warranty, so this is your call. I personally have found that disabling Dynamic Dimming stopped a banding issue I was having, most noticeable in dark scenes. Backup any settings you change, incase you need to restore them.
To enter the Service Menu, key in the following button combination while the TV is in standby:
INFO + MENU + MUTE + POWER
Now adjust the following settings in the Adjust menu option;
Dynamic Dimming: Off
Dynamic Contrast: On
Dynamic CE: Off
Press Power to Exit and save settings, leave it a second and power back on.

Επίσης από το DVD τελικά είναι θέμα της ταινίας εάν καλύπτει by default το σύνολο της οθόνης ή του DVD;; Σε κάποια παρμύθια (cartoon) της κόρης μου καλύπτεται όλη η οθόνη και είναι μιά χαρά;;
