We review the Panasonic MZ2000 OLED TV whose MLA panel & bespoke multi-layer heatsink allowed the television to measure brighter than the LG G3 & the Samsung S95C up to 25% window size at D65 white point, while exhibiting less image retention.

Our review sample is the 65-inch Panasonic TX-65MZ2000B (the UK 3-pin-plug version), but our findings should also apply to the smaller TX-55MZ2000B.
The larger 77-inch Panasonic MZ2000 is not equipped with an MLA (Micro Lens Array) OLED panel, and so won't be as bright.

Εξετάζουμε την τηλεόραση OLED Panasonic MZ2000, της οποίας το πάνελ MLA και η ειδική ψύκτρα πολλαπλών επιπέδων επέτρεψαν στην τηλεόραση να έχει μεγαλύτερη φωτεινότητα από το LG G3 και το Samsung S95C έως και 25% στο μέγεθος παραθύρου στο λευκό σημείο D65, ενώ παράλληλα παρουσίαζε λιγότερη διατήρηση εικόνας.

Το δείγμα της κριτικής μας είναι το Panasonic TX-65MZ2000B 65 ιντσών (η έκδοση 3 ακίδων στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο), αλλά τα ευρήματά μας θα πρέπει να ισχύουν και για το μικρότερο TX-55MZ2000B.

MZ800 and MZ700 support a wide range of HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG.
In addition, MZ800 supports HDR10+ ,
and MZ800 has built-in subwoofer.

MZ700 and MZ800 feature two aspects of HDMI 2.1 for video game enthusiasts:
a)Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) automatically detects game consoles and switches to Game Mode,
b) whilst Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) allows a high-quality connection to a soundbar
c)but video signals cannot be processed 4K/120fps (from PC, Xbox Series X, PS5)
d)and no Variable Refresh Rate VRR.


MZ700 compared to the MZ800 you immediately notice that the base has changed:
on the MZ800 there is a central pedestal while on the MZ700 there are two thin feet fixed near the sides.

And speaking of what drives the new MZ2000, thanks to the new panel in MLA technology and the experience gained in recent years by Panasonic with dissipation technology.
The new model manages to reach a peak of 1500 cd / m² (nits) in Filmmaker Mode (and also TrueGame) and even at almost 1900 cd / m² (nits) in "Vivid" mode with the native white point of the panel (very cold and certainly not suitable for viewing normal content), a record for OLED technology.
Recall that Panasonic was the first to develop an ad hoc heatsink for the OLED panel and to take the technology to the limit.
