The Stanton 680/681 series are identical to the Pickering XV-15 series – the 681EEE in Pickering form was known as the Pickering XV-15 1200E, and the bodies were identical – the only major difference was in the brushes attached to the stylus assemblies, and how the styli fitted to the cartridge body. You could (and can still) use either brand of stylus.
