It's International Women's Day today. The Hi-Fi industry is often perceived as a male-dominated industry but we've always been one for trying to do things differently. We asked Rachel, one of our Product Trainers and Brand Ambassadors at Linn, for her perspective on working at Linn. "My role at Linn requires me to actively get involved with the wider HiFi community by running events and training sessions. I’ll admit this seemed rather daunting at first, being a young woman, new to the HiFi industry – there’s always a fear that your competency will be overlooked. However, my key to overcoming this is by getting involved, saying yes to things and learning all that I can. Hi-Fi is not purely 'a man’s world' at Linn, in fact women represent a large proportion of the company, working across all areas of the business - metalwork, product assembly, marketing; you name it – there’s a real feeling of inclusivity here which is great. I want to encourage other women to join our fantastic industry, not shy away from it, and ensure it’s a welcoming environment for all, whatever your gender." Today, we're celebrating the women that work at Linn, who demonstrate every day how the Hi-Fi industry is changing. We want to continue to make progress and provide equal opportunities for anybody with a passion for music. This International Women's Day
