The lower resolution and bitrates allow 1080 ProRes recordings to be made directly to SD cards as well as to the CFexpress slot: currently all ProRes recording have to be recorded to a CFexpress card.</span></p><p><span style="color: rgb(247, 218, 100)"></span></p><p><span style="color: rgb(247, 218, 100)">The firmware announcement makes no mention of regular, 16:9 UHD 4K resolutions ProRes or ProRes RAW, or of ProRes options for anamorphic recording.
