The footprint is exactly the same, the same is true for the display-options, which are the same as the X1 Carbon, except for the additional OLED display option. What was redesigned: The keyboard and the palmrest. The new version has a palmrest that is completely flat with a so-called "Wave-keyboard" that actually retracts inside the chassis. The older X1 Yoga had a keyboard where the keyboard frame did rise up and locked the keyboard in place that way (Lift and Lock keyboard).</p><p></p><p>Apart from that, Lenovo mirrors many changes of the X1 Carbon here: Just like with the X1 Carbon, Lenovo takes full-advantage of Thunderbolt 3, also, the X1 Yoga is going to be available in silver. Kaby Lake CPUs are of course also used in the X1 Yoga, the same is true for the Signature edition Windows and the Precision touchpad.
