I think it is important for a possible buyer of a player with SACD compatibility to know exactly which SACD players don't downconvert the DSD stream to pcm.
I am quite sure for this products:
Emm Labs (full range)
Marantz (SACD players audio)
Pioneer (SACD players audio)
Sony (SACD players audio)
Denon (which?)
Anybody knows something from other brands?

I know my Philips SACD1000 doesn't, and I guess this is true for all (stand-alone) models, at least the 962, 963 and 9000.

There was another thread some time ago that discussed this question and I believe some of the players you cite were mentioned.

I had three Philips 1000 in the past, but they all failed. Your product is still working?

I'd say the cheap universal players downconvert to PCM. When you get to a certain price they don't. Shouldn't be too far from the reality. The question should be narrowed to players between 500$ and 2000$.

The oppo 980 universal player (about $160) sends DSD via HDMI to appropriately equipped receivers, so it's a welcome exception to Julien's rule (though I'll bet his rule applies most of the time).

Is there any player that doesn´t convert to PCM while processing bass management and channel delays?

That depends....
Pioneer's early inexpensive universal player, such as the 563, doesn't convert to PCM unless bass management is activated. Same with many Sony SACD/DVD/CD players.

Krell's Evolution 505 and Wadia's SACD players downconvert to pcm and they aren't cheap...
