Εμείς πάντως αγοράσαμε (power buy) 15 XL2 και δεν είχε κανένας ίχνος banding

Θεωρητικά όπως λένε οι εταιρίες δεν υπάρχουν διαφορές,πρακτικά όμως όλα γίνονται για θέμα κόστους με ότι αυτό συνεπάγεται,καθώς πλέον η διαδικασία είναι αυτοματοποιημένη.Στις σοβαρές αγορές που κυκλοφορούν τα ίδια μοντέλα προιόντων με διαφορες χώρες προέλευσης,αυτά είναι μεν φαινομενικά ίδια όταν τα βλέπεις,αλλά οι διαφορές εκτός από την τιμή που την βλέπεις,είναι και σε ποιότητα (αν μπορείς να το δείς)

Κάποια υλικά κατασκευής επειδή συνήθως αγοράζονται από τις ντόπιες ή φθηνότερες αγορές για να πετυχαίνουν καλύτερες τιμές, δείχνουν από μακριά φθηνιαρικα σε κατασκευή-Και φυσικά κάπου ο ποιοτικός έλεγχος λογικά θα είναι μικρότερος,στηριζόμενοι στην εγγύηση.(την να την κάνεις όμως όταν θα ταλαιπωρείσαι,πήγαινε-έλα στα service)

Σε χώρες όμως σαν την Ελλάδα οι επιλογές είναι μικρές (βασικά λόγω νοοτροπίας αντιπροσωπειών) και πρέπει να είσαι τυχερός να σου βγεί καλό το προιόν.Πάντως ακόμα κατά διαστήματα για λόγους promotion κυρίως,κυκλοφορούν προιόντα από σοβαρές σε προδιαγραφές χώρες κατασκευής (και διαφημίζονται και σχετικά ) αλλά συνήθως είναι τα καλύτερα προιόντα στην γκάμα κάθε κατασκευαστή.

Sony και Samsung συμφώνησαν για την κατασκευή άλλης μίας γραμμής παραγωγής 8ης γενιάς για να καλύψουν την αυξανόμενη ζήτηση σε LCD τηλεοράσεις. Η γραμμή θα είναι έτοιμη το δεύτερο τρίμηνο του 2009:

"Samsung Electronics and Sony today announced that they have signed a contract to establish an additional 8G amorphous TFT-LCD manufacturing line (8-2 Line) at their joint venture, S-LCD.
S-LCD, established in April 2004, started its 7G line operation in April 2005 and its first 8G line operation in August 2007 to manufacture and supply TFT-LCD panels to Samsung and Sony. To meet the increase in world demand for LCD TVs, Samsung and Sony agreed to expand the capacity of the 8G generation line.
Total investment for the 8-2 Line will be approximately 1.8 trillion KRW (US$1.9 billion) and will be invested by S-LCD.
The 8-2 Line is to be built in the Tangjeong Complex, and production is targeted to start in the second quarter of 2009. The production capacity of the new line is expected to be initially 60,000 sheets per month (substrate glass input basis). The size of substrate glass from this line will be 2,200 x 2,500mm.
By adding the 8-2 Line, together with the current 8G and 7G lines in Tangjeong, S-LCD is expected to be a stable and efficient supplier to Samsung and Sony of large screen LCD panels."

Η LG ανακοίνωσε πως έκανε ένα σημαντικό βήμα για την μείωση του κόστους των LCD πάνελ, αναπτύσσοντας μία νέα μέθοδο στην διαδικασία κατασκευής τους.

LG Display has announced that it has developed what it claims is the world's first TFT roll-printing technology that can replace the photolithography process.
Photolithography is a process used in TFT-LCD fabrication to form patterns on the TFT and color filter substrate. It involves a complex set of processes that requires huge and costly equipment. However, using the roll-printing technology instead of photolithography, the complex set of processes used to form the required patterns can be proceeded at once.
The roll-printing technology is expected to help reduce material and equipment costs, clean room investment costs and also shorten the production time of TFT-LCD. Furthermore, roll-printing is an environment-friendly technology that significantly decreases the use of chemicals used in the photolithography process and is also applicable to the next-generation, flexible display technology.

Η Samsung ανακοίνωσε πως τις επόμενες μέρες θα παρουσιάσει LCD 15'' με ρυθμό ανανέωσης 240Hz, αν και η μαζική παραγωγή τους δεν θα είναι δυνατή πριν το 2011. Να σημειωθεί πως μιλάμε για πάνελ εντελώς διαφορετικής τεχνολογίας από τα συμβατικά PVA.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., the world’s largest provider of thin-film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) panels announced today that it has developed the world’s first “Blue Phase” LCD panel – which will offer more natural moving images with an unprecedented image-driving speed of 240 Hertz (Hz). Samsung is planning to unveil a 15” model of its Blue Phase LCD panel at the SID (Society for Information Display) 2008 International Symposium, Seminar and Exhibition, which will be held in Los Angeles from May 18 to 23. Samsung Electronics Executive Vice President Souk Jun-hyung, who leads the Display R&D Center of LCD Business, said, “Our blue phase mode is a major evolutionary development beyond conventional liquid crystal modes. Samsung’s development of this technology provides a tremendous opportunity to move image quality of LCD screens much closer to that of a real moving image.”
Developed with an extremely cost-efficient design, the Samsung Blue Phase mode does not require liquid crystal alignment layers, unlike today’s most widely used LCD modes such as Twisted Nematic, In-Plane Switching or Vertical Alignment. The new Blue Phase mode can make its own alignment layers, eliminating the need for any mechanical alignment and rubbing processes. This reduces the number of required fabrication processes, resulting in considerable savings on production costs. Additionally, blue phase panels will reduce the possibility of bruising the LCD panel interface (whereby pressure on the screen could impair uniform brightness).
Overdrive circuits are currently applied to each LCD panel to improve the video image quality in premium LCD TVs, which are driven at 120Hz. The blue phase mode features a superior response rate, allowing images to be reproduced at 240Hz or higher without the need for any overdrive circuit. The term “Blue Phase” was coined when the technology’s developers observed bluish hues while watching their new liquid crystal mode in operation.
While other academic and corporate institutions have researched this new liquid crystal mode, Samsung is the first to unveil a commercially viable product prototype using the “Blue Phase” technology.
Samsung Electronics expect to begin mass-producing its Blue Phase LCD in 2011. The LCD panels will be mainly used in TVs that require high-speed video reproduction.

Είχε ακουστεί σαν φήμη πριν κάποιους μήνες, αλλά πλέον Samsung και LG είναι πολύ κοντά σε συμφωνία ανταλλαγής πάνελ. Η Samsung θα εκμεταλευτεί την δεύτερη 8G γραμμή και θα προμηθεύει την LG με πάνελ στις 52 ίντσες. Η LG με την σειρά της θα προμηθεύει την Samsung με πάνελ στις 37 ίντσες.

Επίσης η Samsung προσπαθεί να "ψήσει" την Sony να συμμετάσχει στην δημιουργία γραμμής 10ης γενιάς.

πιο πραγμα δεν ισχυει?

οτι θελουμε λεμε μου φαινεται!!

απλα το εβαλα επειδη ειναι σαν πινακακι να βλεπουμε ετσι "χονδρικα" τις διαφορες οταν καποιος θελει να χρησιμοποιοησει την τηλεοραση του σαν monitor για το pc.

Cleaning

Ειναι πολυ παλαιο... τοσο, που ειναι πλεον ακυρο και δε θα επρεπε να το παιρνει κανεις υπ'οψιν...
To responce time 20-22" TN πχ ειναι πλεον το καλυτερο ολων των LCD και το εχει κοκκινο... και αλλα πολλα λαθη...
Να μην πω για τα panel και τι bit λενε... πλεον τα 6 bit πανε προς εξαφανηση και τα περισσοτερα ειναι 8bit και πανω... (ειδικα στις TV)

Καλυτερα παιδιά να μιλάμε μόνο για τηλεοράσεις κι όχι για μόνιτορς υπολογιστών. Για τα 2α υπάρχουν άλλα φόρα που ασχολούνται με Η/Υ κι εκεί μπορεί όποιος θέλει να βρει περισσότερες πληροφορίες σχετικά.
Ας μείνουμε στο θέμα μας, που είναι και sticky. -bye-

Δεν εχω ασχοληθει καθολου... απλα εχω TN monitor 20" που και 8bit ειναι και 2ms responce εχει...
Διαφωνεις οτι αναφορες απο το 2005 βοηθουν? -bye-

Σε λίγο καιρό τέλος οι Made in Japan τηλεοράσεις από την Sharp για την ευρωπαϊκή αγορά. Ετοιμάζεται εργοστάσιο στην Πολωνία.
