Αλλαγές στρατηγικής της Philips σε τοπικό αλλά και διεθνές επίπεδο, ύστερα από τα ελαφρά αδύνατα οικονομικά αποτελέσματα ειδικά που σημειώθηκαν στην Ευρώπη και στο τομέα των τηλεοράσεων της εταιρίας.

Σε τοπικό επίπεδο η Philips Hellas επανδρώνεται με νέα και δυναμικά στελέχη, ενώ σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο η Philips Electronics βάζει στόχο και εφορμά στις μεγάλες αγορές της Ασίας όπως είναι οι Κίνα και Ινδία αλλά και η Ρωσία.

Η Ευρώπη δεν στήριξε το 2010 τη Philips όσο θα έπρεπε ειδικά στους τομείς της τηλεόρασης και του AV όπου παρατηρήθηκε μια πτώση της τάξης του 4%, γεγονός που πιθανών να οφείλεται στην οικονομική κρίση που βιώνει η Γηραιά Ήπειρος.

Παρόλο αυτά η Philips τα πήγε καλύτερα στους τομείς υγείας και φωτισμού η οποία είναι leader στη παγκόσμια αγορά.

Philips profit disappoints on weak TV sales

On the back of poor TV sales the net profits figures of Philips electronics reported less than expected. The same trend is expected for the current year as well.However, with the boom in the construction sector the lightning division is expected to post positive returns by the second half.Moreover the country is focusing on the emerging markets for expansion as the main drivers for growth come from the emerging economies. "Overall, Philips results are somewhat disappointing mainly due to the weaker-than-expected consumer lifestyle division," said Sjoerd Ummels, ING analyst."Philips stresses that consumer sentiment will continue to be subdued throughout 2011 and it's not a surprise, but still we've had two years of weak consumer sentiment in mature markets, and apparently there's no end in sight."The net profits of the company stood at 465 million euros lower than the 532 million euros forecasted by Reuters."Sales were impacted by negative consumer sentiment in developed markets, while continued destocking in the trade resulted in a particularly slow December," outgoing Chief Executive Gerard Kleisterlee said in a pre-recorded audio statement.The Q4 EBITA of consumer division declined by 43% from a year ago and stood at 151 million euros which was again lower than expected of 267 million euros.The EBITA of health care division and lightning division was 5220million euros 198 million euros respectively with a growth of 15.5% and 141% from a year ago.

Δεν είναι αναμενόμενο;
Όταν κάθε χρόνο τα μοντέλα της έχουν όλο και λιγότερες ευκολίες, ενώ το "sense & simplicity" έχει καταλήξει να θες 150 key presses στο τηλεχειριστήριο για να αλλάξεις πηγή, τι να περιμένει κανείς;
Άσε τα δεκάδες firmware bugs... Ούτε καν EPG δεν έχουν... :flipout:

Εγώ το έχω πει: μάλλον οι περισσότεροι εργαζόμενοί τους είναι απόφοιτοι των Ολλανδικών πανεπιστημίων... Την στιγμή που οι περισσότερες εταιρίες τους απασχολούν εργαζόμενους που έχουν σπουδάσει αλλού...
