    Profile HTPC Domain...

    HTPC Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit "home" domain (windows 2003 server) .. login Domain Domain User ..

    O Server ( ) hardware Server Domain (+Active Directory).. ( Domain 6 ( .. ))

    PC profile user PC .. DOMAIN.USER NEWDOMAIN.USER ..

    HTPC .. sensitive .. .. ..

    My computer ->Properties -> User Profiles.

    "Copy Profile to..." "Permitted to Use".

    First, you must log on as someone OTHER than the user you are performing this task for - reason is, Windows saves settings when you log off, and if you do this as the user you are changing, all your current settings (which you DON'T want) will overwrite the ones you DO want.

    regedit\HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Profile List

    Find the entry that has the new profile path (in the ProfileImagePath
    string value), and change to the original profile path
