Από τη συνέντευξη στο 2 video του ποστ 13 προκύπτουν τα παρακάτω νέα(αν καταλαβαίνω λάθος διορθώστε με):

-Triluminos Display=wider color space / filter technology το έχουν οι UHD tv και η σειρά W9.

-Η επεξεργασία X-Reality Pro (CXD4741GB) είναι 1 chip και όχι 2 που ήταν στις σειρές του 2011/2012 και το έχουν οι σειρές W6,W8,W9 ,οι βελτιώσεις είναι καλύτεροι αλγόριθμοι,περισσότερες βάσεις δεδομένων για το 3d , για το περιεχόμενο από κινητό τηλέφωνο ,βελτίωση στην αναγνώριση προσώπου και δέρματος και κάποια τεχνολογία διαχείρισης χρώματος.

-Για τις 55"/65" UHD tv η 4K X-Reality PRO είναι 2 chip επεξεργασίας, το δεύτερο είναι για το upscale σε 3840 x 2160 ανάλυση.

-Η σειρά W9 είναι η κορυφαία(με edge led backlight)

-Νέο user interface, τέλος το XMB και το SEN button.

Sony's new Triluminous TVs pursue vibrant hues with quantum dots

Sony might have made news for being the first TV manufacturer with a 4K OLED TV at CES last week, but that wasn’t the only first the company was celebrating. Its new Triluminous displays are the first consumer devices (let alone TVs) to make use of quantum dots — a semiconductor technology that uses "tuned" nanocrystals so small that they exhibit quantum properties, emitting light only at predetermined wavelengths. The resulting displays reportedly see as much as a 50 percent increase in color gamut, or the range of colors that the screens can reproduce.
